I have been a fan of 5 Seconds of Summer for years and this was my first time seeing him in concert. He loves his fans and really connects with them during the show. I was able to meet 5 Seconds of Summer and he was as chill and nice as I always imagined. This show exceeded all of my expectations.
5 Seconds of Summer is an artist who feels every note of his music. He's an amazing performer and lyricist. He makes room for improvisation. It was really cool to see the unspoken communication between he and his guitarists and cellist. It isn't overly rehearsed and consistent.
The acoustic tour allowed me to experience his music in a totally different way. The songs of his that I've always absolutely loved were just as amazing as the original rendition, but with a spell-binding effect. There were songs that I liked before that I now LOVE because the acoustic arrangement and performance highlighted words and meaning that I didn't capture before.
